An agile organisation responds quickly to change. The key to an agile organisation’s success is its ability to react swiftly to change. By sharing responsibility, an agile organisation also often enables its employees to have a more meaningful role and working environment. Is making your organisation more agile on your company’s change agenda, but you’re not sure how to go about driving the process forward? There is no single ‘right’ way to do this, and agility often requires the courage to switch from one path to another – to change course when the chosen path does not lead to the desired destination.

Our experts have experience in making organisations more agile, and we can assist, for example, in launching and implementing the change process, as well as in coaching management on their journey towards an agile organisation.

We believe that everything starts with people, and therefore the strategy process should also be people-centred.

A people-centred approach is ensured by incorporating both employee and customer perspectives into the strategy process. When a strategy has been developed collaboratively, it is easy for staff to embrace it and put it into practice. At this point, a business leader might be thinking about the cost – but don’t worry – participation doesn’t mean several unproductive working days for the whole workforce, and we can confidently promise that this investment will pay off. We have a range of tools for an inclusive strategy process, and you can choose the approach that suits you best from our ‘idea bank’. Are you aiming for an imaginative, distinctive, people-centred strategy? Get in touch – we too want to build a more meaningful working life.

Meaningful work is a key asset in the world of work. At Welado, we believe that meaningful work is an increasingly important theme in the world of work, as is the freedom to choose where and when to work. Competition for experts is set to intensify. For us, building our corporate and employer image has been a long-term and determined effort, and based on metrics, we have been quite successful in this regard. If you’d like some guidance on building your employer brand – please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

To many, branding sounds a bit abstract and high-flown. What does ‘branding’ actually mean, and what is it aiming to achieve? The aim of branding is to achieve widespread positive recognition for, for example, a company, a city, a local authority, a product, a brand or an individual. Successful brand building is integral to long-term strategic planning and requires a significant investment in marketing and communications. Welado’s brand experts have decades of experience in a wide range of successful global product branding projects as well as in corporate brand building.

Corporate culture is a key tool for managing business operations and achieving strategic objectives. Every company has a culture, whether it wants one or not. The modern leader recognises corporate culture as a key tool for managing business operations and sees it as one of the means of achieving the company’s strategic objectives.

One tool for crystallising this culture is a culture handbook. We are not here to tell you what your company’s culture should be like. However, what we do offer is experience and support in sparking ideas, facilitating workshops and guiding the process of creating a culture handbook.

We also believe that whilst it is important for a company to define its own culture, defining a target culture for large-scale projects is even more crucial. The importance of a shared project culture is emphasised when team members come from very different organisations. We believe that project culture is one of the key factors in a project’s success.

How is legal support an important part of project management and construction management services?

Procurement law as part of the tendering process for projects:

  • Assistance in efficiently carrying out the tendering process for a project or part thereof in the best possible way for the project
  • A well-planned and prepared tendering process and the associated documentation reduce the number of procurement complaints and appeals, and help ensure that the project obtains exactly what it needs in competitive tendering situations

Technical assistance with contracts when drafting project contract documents:

  • Ensure that all documentation is in order in advance, including from a legal perspective, so that any contradictions or ambiguities in the contract documents do not result in additional costs for the client as the project progresses.
  • In unclear or uncertain situations, a contract specialist can clarify matters quickly and efficiently, ensuring that challenges arising during the drafting of documents do not delay the project

Flexible project support during the construction phase

  • Legally speaking, the importance of site meetings and memos and correspondence during the construction phase is emphasised in the contracting world, and only by making the right entries at the right time, with the correct content, can one ensure that one’s own position is secure in the event of disputes
  • In cases of interpretation, legal support helps to ensure that records are properly drafted and in the client’s best interests, whilst also providing rapid support on projects should a situation arise that is unusual or involves risks to the client relating to the project and the agreement between the parties
  • In the event of a dispute, legal support relating to complaints and responses, and ensuring the legal basis for any potential dispute
  • Safeguarding the client’s interests and responding to any counter-arguments in a timely manner is important to protect one’s own position and ensure that documentation in unclear situations has been drawn up correctly
  • In the event of a dispute, well-drafted responses that take legal considerations into account also lay the groundwork, where necessary, for initiating successful legal proceedings should the project, despite constructive cooperation, be forced to resort to such measures.

A corporate acquisition is a process guided by the alignment of objectives and the employee experience. Have you ever witnessed a corporate acquisition that didn’t quite go as it should have? We have too, but we’re determined to do things differently – we’re determined to get it right first time. With experience of dozens of corporate transactions and a wide range of expertise, our M&A team brings genuine value to the acquisition process. The process is planned as a holistic whole, beginning with the definition of objectives. We always pay particular attention to the employee experience and systematic communication.

We also possess strong expertise in legal advice on M&A, the drafting of sale and purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements and taxation. If the target company is to be integrated, we begin the planning process to prepare for a high-quality integration in parallel with the M&A negotiations.

Are you looking for comprehensive expertise to support your business acquisition? We’d love to promise a hassle-free acquisition process – though that might be promising too much – so we’ll settle for promising an acquisition that’s always a little easier.

Change affects processes, ways of working and people. We help you create the conditions for change by working with leadership, behaviours, attitudes and organisational development.

The focus is on moving from a desired change to practical implementation and helping people understand their role in reaching common goals.

Does your organisation need coaching or a workshop facilitator? Call on our experts – true all-rounders in the business world who recognise people as an organisation’s most important asset. We always put together the best duo or team to ensure our clients achieve the best possible outcome. We have built up particular expertise in facilitating alliance workshops, various forms of leadership coaching and coaching for line managers.

We provide expert procurement services as part of our construction management contracts and as a separately commissioned service

We know the Public Procurement Act like the back of our hand. With the help of our experts, procurement processes are carried out smoothly, without ambiguities, setbacks or disputes.

When planning procurements, we always review our client’s strategic, technical, financial, quality and scheduling objectives for the procurement. This enables us to engage tenderers in shared objectives right from the procurement stage. We select the appropriate procurement methods on a case-by-case basis and take risk management into account.

We are particularly well-placed to assist with specialised procurements and complex projects, such as alliance and PPP projects. We also apply the benefits of collaborative models to other projects by devising contractual mechanisms to promote shared objectives amongst stakeholders.

We ensure high-quality procurement at market prices

Our expert procurement services include, amongst other things, defining procurement objectives and the procurement model, selecting the contract and tendering model, drafting tender documents, conducting the tendering process using the selected method, negotiations, comparing and evaluating suppliers, and drafting contracts.

Proper procurement is underpinned by a detailed and clear documentation of requirements. This ensures that procurements are appropriate and of high quality. High-quality procurements avoid reliance on tenderers’ interpretations, thereby making tender prices more comparable. The goods or services are obtained at the best market price.

Streamlining procurement using the Lean approach

In addition to this, we help our clients develop their procurement strategies, processes and supply chains. Among other things, we use Lean methodology to streamline working practices.

Clear and empathetic communication in the built environment

When communication is kept on the right track, projects run smoothly and everyday life becomes easier. We translate the language of construction into terms that are easy to understand – whether the target audience is residents, the media or even decision-makers.

For us, communication and built environment projects go hand in hand. We combine technical expertise with a human touch:

  • we simplify complex issues so they’re easy to understand
  • we plan communication across the entire project lifecycle
  • and ensure that the right information reaches the right people at the right time

We collaborate openly and with a low threshold for engagement: concise meetings, flexible feedback and rapid content production keep the communication flowing.

Our empathetic approach is reflected in the fact that we understand the perspectives of both the client and the end-user. We also aim to ensure effective internal communication and dialogue within our projects.

How do businesses and local authorities benefit from collaborative communication?
  • Versatile and accessible content in the organisation’s own style and voice
  • Fewer flood-like volumes of feedback – and support for crisis communication should the situation take a turn for the worse
  • Help with brainstorming and swiftly produced communication content
  • A reliable additional resource for time-sensitive communication

Project communication and interaction

  • Public events, surveys, workshops and other engagement methods
  • Communication plans
  • Communicating exceptional arrangements and project progress to target groups

Impactful content

  • Press releases, articles, newsletters, social media and other formats for the client’s channels
  • Visualisations, maps, publications
  • Photographs and videos, podcasts
  • Translation services FI-EN-FI

Communication measurement, support and training

  • Media and crisis communication
    Communication guidelines, training and coaching
